Introduction

Hi everyone!  So my name is Hannie and I like to read a lot, as well as ramble endlessly about my books, which is fantastic!  Therefore, I thought I would combine the two activities and create a books blog where I review books and talk about everything I like to read!

So, for a bit of information about me, I am in my last year of college where I majored in English literature, specifically focusing on Victorian literature.  I read a lot of different genres, so my book taste might be a little random-feeling at times.  My plan is to go into my reading goals on another post reasonably soon, but the biggest one worth noting in my introduction is my decision to begin drifting away from Young Adult books.  The thing is, I love YA so much, but I also realize that a lot of it sounds the same and, quite frankly, a lot of the books are not written that well.  While I will certainly finish off series that I have started and pick up books that I have heard a lot about, one of my goals for this blog is to help document my attempts to leave Young Adult behind and learn what I do and do not like.
